Who We Are
AMZ Hypospadias Center is the first and only dedicated center in Bangladesh for total care of hypospadias located at AMZ Hospital LTD UTTAR BADDA (cha 80/3 Shadhinota Shoroni ) room no: 1511. This dedicated Hypospadias Center started its journey in 2018 at AMZ hospital with full set up (OPD & inpatient), provided innovative and integrated care for patient with penile birth deformities especially primary and redo cases of hypospadias. Though its activities were going on since 2013 at Metropolitan hospital, Mohakhali in small scale. Presently the center is well equipped with dedicated OT facilities, adequate skilled manpower & all necessary fine instruments. Currently we repair more than 150 hypospadias cases per year. Initially the complication rate was a bit high (>25%) but by this time it has declined below 10% in distal variety & <20% in proximal variety. Collected data from all patients are strictly maintained in PC and evaluated in a regular interval.
